Signature Sound is located inside of Faith Lutheran Church in Lakewood. It is situated between Marysville and Arlington (3min from Smokey Point Costco) making it easy to get to from either city.

Services include drum lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons, songwriting lessons, as well as music recording and production services

Jacob Thompson is the owner and sole teacher at Signature Sound. Aside from teaching music lessons in the space, he uses the studio to record music professionally for artists around the world.

Lessons take place inside a fully equipped recording studio, so there is the ability to play backing music over speakers, put sheet music up on a large monitor screen, record lessons and send them to students for review and use the studio features in different activities to make the experience more fun and educational.

In addition to the studio space, Jacob has a song-focused teaching philosophy that prioritizes the student’s interests and musical taste in order to teach concepts in a fun and practical way. This is the reason for the name Signature Sound - every student will have a uniquely tailored experience in lessons with Jacob.
